Re: 97 sc2 amp wiring HELP!!!
If you can't put it through one of the existing wiring grommets, then you will have to drill a hole. Just be sure that there is nothing on the other side of the firewall.

Re: 97 sc2 amp wiring HELP!!!
i ran mine from the battery towards the front of the car. you will find a big opening that leads to the fender. i ran mine through there and followed the wires that go through a grommet into the passenger compartment. this will also allow for it to be easily hidden as it will be in back of the kick panel. you should able to do all of this by pulling the inner fender splash shield, and unbolting the upper bolts on the fender only. i was able to do it this way. i cut a very tiny slit in the grommet and forced the cable through. do it that way so its nice and tight.

Re: 97 sc2 amp wiring HELP!!!
I have a 97 sedan and there IS a hole where i can run my power wire through where lonelywolf mentioned. A REALLY EASY WAY to get the wire through the firewall is get an old wire hanger and straighten it, tape the power wire (or whatever wire) to the hanger wire stick it in there and gently ( just to be safe) stick it through figure out where to move forward and voila.
