Need help with a 94 town car

First time poster

Have 1994 town car and I just got a new remote for the car. Picked it up at the dealer and got it programmed to my car. I them promptly manage to lose it, in the bag it came in, with my name and phone number on it.

Assuming that some nice person doesn't call me to let me know where to come and get it, is there a way to turn off the remote access to the car without disabling any other systems in the car? Or lacking that, a way to change the transmitter/receiver in the car and get new remotes?

thanks in advance

Re: Need help with a 94 town car

Have you called your dealership and asked them? Do that right away and see if they can help. That would be the quickest resolution to your dilemma.

If not,..... do you have a gaurd dog who could sleep in it overnight? Park it under your bedroom window? If you were around the Portland Oregon area, I'd lend you my shotgun and the 'ol Rockin chair for the night.

Good luck,
