Power Problems!!!

ok, for about 4 hours the parking lights were left on....Now when the key is turned the gauges jump around (all) and as you go to on, there is a constant clicking noise...

Okay, so you would think low batt. well i did, as I was jumping the + terminal on my car when nuts (sparks like crazy)....I did this twice, dont know if anythings wrong or what....it just snowed

Re: Power Problems!!!

Year?

Sure the jumper cables weren't accidentally backwards? Sounds like it is grounding out.

Re: Power Problems!!!

Clicking....sounds like the starter.

Might have a ground lose/off from the starter.

When you were jumping it, did you put make sure you had the + and - cables on the right terminal?

Re: Power Problems!!!

I don't know how your medians are there but maybe like Mr. luos said a wire came off or loosened up off the starter when the car went sliding

Re: Power Problems!!!

well, aparently you cannot jump a car with side and top mounts. If the sides are used the tops CANNOT be used....learned that by experience, Car runs GREAT now

Re: Power Problems!!!

Thats weird. I got the side/top mounts on my battery. Everything is hooked up to the side mounts and I was able to jump my car off the top. What it is is maybe there was a tight fitting cover on one of your mounts.
