FOR SALE: 91 RWD Talon TSI

It was a FWD that was converted into a RWD last February. It has been running with all conversions for a year now with no problems. The motor sits sideways (because of it being rear wheel drive now) and the cam gears sticks up out of the hood. It does have a carbon fiber small hood scoop to cover them and protect them from the weather etc. It has all custom hard piping on it. Has a strut tower bar in the front and back. Everything has been custom made/installed and relocated. Even the altenator as you can see in the pics. This was done to create as much open space available under the hood to work on it and can easily do engine swaps in a snap. You won't believe how much space is under this hood to work on it. It has talon swirlies on it. We also have a HUGE front mount that would be perfect for this car with the short route piping and would work and look great on this car that we'll throw in. However, please note, the sheet metal intake in the pictures do NOT go with the car. It will have a regular dsm intake when sold.

It has a fuel cell in the back (mounted underneath the car, but you pop the hatch to fill up the tank). Has an after market fuel pump from Jegs in it. It does need a AFC because the car does run rich and needs to be tuned.

The engine runs fine and it only has a 13g on it. We've had bigger turbo's on it and swapped them out several times just playing with it and seeing what it can do. But, currently come's with a 13g on it.

After switching to RWD, it needed some minor body work and a paint job. Body work was currently being done to the car and has been sprayed a custom dark blue pearl color and is getting ready to have a clear coat put on. Front bumper still needs painted and we have all lights, corners, back ups and trim pieces for the car...it's just not on yet, but will be on before being sold. It does have the wing (not currently on the car in the pics).
Interior is mostly there, front seats, back seats (but no side pieces in the back), still has the carpet etc.

This car was at the DSM shootout last year and they made a big anouncement about it while everyone surrounded the car almost the entire day. It is a big conversation piece and everyone will stop you everywhere you go to check out this one of a kind car. We've only seen one other RWD DSM and it was an AWD that only had the front axels taken out/welded to make it RWD which anyone can do. This is an actual RWD conversion. A lot of hard work and time have been put into this car.
