Ride height/Alignment(Long)

Hello,
I am trying to adjust the torsion bars on my 93 B2200 pickup. Does anybody know the correct measurement for the front end ride height for a stock truck. The manual I have says to measure from the middle wheel hub center to the bottom of the fender lip, but it does not specify what this distance should be. Just trying to get the trucks front level I had to adjust both sides to far different settings.. one way out.. the other way in on the adjusting end. I suspect I have some other front end issues that are ultimately causing my problem. Also.. are there any other common B2200 front end problems. I have a shake, (steering wheel moves side to side rapidly at 45 mph on up). I have had the front end aligned but I don't think they did anything other than set the toe in. I've got new balanced tires and rims etc.. new brake rotors.. wheel bearings etc. It seems to pull to the left some on it's own when going straight. As far as I can tell none of the front suspension parts are worn, as I have checked all this.

Have you looked at your rear springs? A broken or weak spring on one side could affect the front ride height at the opposite front corner. I assume didn't buy new wheels, did the shop doing the wheel balance mention anything about wheels being bent? Cross switch the front tires to see if the steering pull changes to the other direction. If it does you have a tire problem. Some new tires are bad.

2 set torsion bars turn adjusters till a 3/4''-7/8'' block will slip btween
lower Aarm & bump stop; u'll have 2 recheck after a bit of driving as suspension settles in; i would do this b4 alignment
the things flash suggests should definetly b checked
most vibration is caused by balance or tread wear prob

Thanks for the information guys. I adjusted the torsion bars to the recommended and that really helped the ride. I had the one side too far up to correct the ride height problem, but now with both sides set to 3/4 inches, it is level and rides good. I did swap the tires on the front and that did cure the pulling to the left. I think I still have some tire issues. The tires were low end budget tires. I am going to have it aligned once again and see if the tires need to be replaced if all else is OK. Anyways it is much improved over what it was by the above changes.. Thanks again.

also check your sway bar...i had a broken bolt and a bad bushing and it threw my truck round alot...fixed that and it was all good till i hit a deer...but the truck is back to its original condition after a hood windsheild fenders and rad were put on it...DAMN THE DEER...dont worry i eat the deer afterwerds so i think i t was worth it
