Re: crx over heating
My civic is having the exact same problem...I am going to go ahead and replace the thermostat, but don't know where to go from there. I was supposed to take a 600 mile trip this weekend, then this decided to put a cherry on the cake of my day. It could be on eof the sensors in the radiator maybe...I guess I'll find out Monday.

Re: crx over heating
Feel your rad hoses and if the lower one is cold then its your thermostat. If there both warm then the thermostat has openned. Are you sure you have no leaks, check around the water pump. Did you bleed your coolant of air? If your fan is not working, then it should be overheating in traffic not on the freeway. My fan never used to come on and i was fine at high speeds, the temp guage would move up a little only when i was stuck in traffic.
