Clutch question

I have an 89 Civic 4WD wagon with the 6-speed manual transmission. What should it cost (parts and labor) to replace the clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing? Any specific issues to worry about with this model? Any input is appreciated.

Re: Clutch question

I guess I should replace the pilot bearing too. Also, can anyone recommend a good brand or manufacturer for these parts? Or do I need to stick with genuine Honda parts?

Re: Clutch question

Go aftermarket with your clutch, unless you want to get raped in the wallet by Honda. If you dont know how to do a clutch job yourself, i would take it to a transmission shop, not the dealer.
