We need more turbo guys....

this part of the board is slow. its been 5 damn days since someone posted. and this is the only real part of this discussion board i can contribute to since i know nothing about the 4th gen.

come on people, turbo is the best bang for the buck. isn't it like 10 horses for every one psi? and the bov is so god damn addicting :-) don't you love giving people the bov salute as you pas them. pshhhhh

Stock honda inj. flow 240 cc.s , the dohc vtec prelude inj. flow like 340 cc.s can i use them with my stock puter. That would be great because i can get a set of prelude inj. free.

yeah....just be sure you get the right fmu disc so you dont run too rich
But you will want more boost after you get 6

Hey, i'm going to be boosting my 89 crx si (d16a6) to about 5-6 intercooled psi MAX. What FMU should i use? what disk? 12:1? What gauges should i get? Boost, A/F, oil pressure or oil temp anything else?
Anyone here mount a Starion intercooler on a crx? Where did you run the charge pipes? Any other tips you guys have would be great too. Thanks

Hey guys, whats up? This is my first time on this forum. You guys all seem pretty casual, (there arn't any dumb comments from any "turbo know it alls). Anyways, I just got done doing a custome turbo setup on my 94' 4 door civic. I am pretty happy with its performance (14.3 @ 7psi) not bad for a 4 door. I have listed my modifications below. This may help someone with a custom setup.

HKS cast manifold
Garrett T25 (off a silvia)
Greddy type S blow off valve
all piping is 2" mandrel bent tubing I bought from summitt racing
Front mount intercooler (I cant remember what car it is from???)

For fuel:

I left my stock stuff alone (no fmu or bigger injectors)
Missing link for the map sensor
HKS AIC III (additional injector controller)
2x 550cc injectors off an 88' rx7 for the additional injectors mounted in the intake manifold.
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump (nessary for anything over 6psi)
I was able to buy the additional injector off ebay for cheap (these things are verry VERRY expensive new. The reason I decided to go this route was for fuel economy. I do not have large injectors over fueling my engine under everyday driving situations. The AIC comes on under boost only. I did not notice any change in gas milage when I drive sensibly (which is hardly ever) I will post some pictures as soon as I take some.
