Best place to upload pictures online?

I'm looking for a picture-hosting service like photobucket, imageshack, etc that meets my needs. I take my pictures at 5.0 megapixels, and the pictures are usually 1.5-2 megabytes in size. I'm looking for something that can accept pictures 2+ megabytes in size. I don't want there to be a limit on space, unless it's something ridicilous like 1gb. Which picture-hosting service seems to be the best?

Re: Best place to upload pictures online?

You would have to pay for it if you want to host files of that size.

But why on earth would you want to host a file of that size?
Its way to big to view.

Just resize like a normal person or keep the big files to yourself.

Ok. That's fine. I'll just resize pictures then. What is the easiest way of doing a batch? I use photoshop, but doing a batch resize in that takes too long to set up. What do you guys use?

Re: Best place to upload pictures online?

www.photobucket.com seems like a good place. I am also looking to do batch conversions for size. I take 7.2 mp pictures and they are quite huge. Next thing is to get a mount for the dash and telescopic lens attachment.

A few years ago someone from another forum posted some links to Windows "power toys". One of them was a batch image resizer. All you do is install it. then go to the file your pics are in, highlight the ones to resize, then rght click > resize and you will get a box to choose what size you want. It will leave your original pics alone, and just create the smaller pics with the same file name but (small/medium/large) after the file name. I uploaded it here for you:

Shoot me an email at [email protected] if you have problems loading it from my webspace, maybe I can email you the file if you have problems.

EDIT - I'll leave this up a few days, then I'm pulling the file off webspace, so that my host doesnt call me at midnight asking why I had 11ty billion gigs of activity
