Secondary air monotoring system?

I have a 2000 ls v6 w/ a 5 speed tranny that I love dearly. My mechanic tells me its throwing a "secondary air montoring system low voltage" code. Both of us would like some input on this. The car seems to run absolutely fine but will not pass emissions with the check e light on!
