question on 94' 740i

im interested in buying the above bmw, and it has 171,000 miles , im just wondering is it worth it, its alot of miles and i test drove it and it ran strong and accelerated quickly and listened to it run and checked all the stuff and everything seemed ok, they have it listed at $5,999........i dont know too much about bimmers, and also they have another bmw at the lot its a 95 740i with 101k miles and i havent really looked at it too much, and they have it listed at 8995, and the exterior is in really really good shape, and the inside is in good condition, some minor blemishes here and there.........any input would be appreciated

Re: question on 94' 740i

Check Autotrader online, 94's do not go for that much there, unless they are pristine. You are looking at pretty high retail prices there I think. You could buy a 97 on Ebay for $9,000.

Check a few online prices and you should get a quick feel for what the market is.
