i know that a certian year of the grand prix came with a HUD. what year?

alos, what would it take to make it work in other vehicles. if i was to find one at a junk yard, what would make up the complete unit that i would need to install it in other vehicles?

I think the easier question is what year didn't come with it, I've got a 95 with it, and I'm pretty sure that its been available ever since, and probably before then.

Some say you will need the specail windsheild to use it, but I've read of people putting it in another vehicles and having it work. I think the Windsheild just focuses it better as it gets blurry on regular ones. I could be wrong... its a fairly common mod for people with F-bodies I think.
