Black tube
for the 2002 cav with the 2.4L you have the air box leading to the s-tube. Then there is this black box type thing with the tuner tube in it. it sits right on top of the throttle body, but what is the black tube that attaches to it and what does it do? you cant see it unless you take the intake off.

Re: Black tube
I am pretty sure you're talking about the PCV valve. It takes all of the blow by gasses that gets past your piston rings during the combustion process that gets down to your crankcase, and puts them back into your intake to be reburned. It is defiently not a good idea to remove it.
