Question about struts
At risk of repeating myself on every form I'm a member of, but really hoping for an answer...
Yeserday I was welcomed to my car by a loud clunk from the back end, I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, my passenger side strut gave out. Naturally I went and did some pricing of different struts and now I ask the question, which is better? I priced out both the KYB GR-2 ($74 each), the Monroe Reflex ($159 each), and the Monroe Sensitrac ($129 each) (all prices in Canadian dollars) I'm looking for a strut that will be stiffer than the OEM ones, I realize this means I will sacrifice some ride quality in exchange for some handling, but I'm young, I can take the rougher ride. I read earlier that the KYB struts can be quite rough in the beginning untill they are broken in, but aside from this is there any drawbacks with them? I plan on adding front and rear strut tower braces by mid summer, in hopes of stiffening up the car that much more. Thanx Jamie

Re: Question about struts
Sensa-trac's are GARBAGE. I've never used Reflex's so I don't know. I've heard good things about the KYB's (Bnaylor says he likes them, and I trust his opinion). That's the option I'd go with out of the choices you gave.
