checking cel?

on my prelude, i could get the cel code by simply shorting two pins on the service connector and it would flash the code using the actual cel. is there a way to do this on an 03 gts? also, where the heck is the service connector on this car? i know that the entire list of engine codes is on c3g, so i know what to do with it when i get it. its probably that stupid cheapo intake i got off ebay with a vacuum leak. i hear a whistling sound when i accelerate at different rpm's.

just run down to autozone and get the code scanned. they should give you a print out of the code(s).

the whistling is normal.

with the cheapo intake, where you able to hook up the MAS sensor?(its the black box was connected to the stock air box.)

Re: checking cel?

w/e man the whistle is cool... it turns heads makes people kno you are serious man, serious

i just like the way mine whistles... yours isn't like annoyingly loud is it? mine is just audible enough that people can hear it and not think my car is going to blow up

if it is obd3 then they both have the same numbers. i've had mine scanned a couple of times, and the numbers that came up matched obd2 codes. maybe the manufacturers codes (above P1200) maybe the obd3 codes. but the ones below that match the generic obd2 codes.
