heater core hoses (inlet)
I have a hole in my inlet hose leading to my heater core. Is there an easier way to get to the hoses w/o taking apart my car. I have a pretty good idea as to how I am going to do this. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! 96 T &C 3.8 lxi |

Re: heater core hoses (inlet)
It was a major pain but changed both of them from underneath a few years ago. Seems like a small pair of needle nose vise grips worked the best. Buy some Ben Gay.

How on earth did you get your arms through that tangled mess????Did you have it on a regular jack or a lift?

Re: heater core hoses (inlet)
Like I said it was a pain in the A. I had it on jack stands in my driveway. Had a buddy helping. He was the one who actually did the hard part from underneath. He had very skinny arms. I was about ready to take it somewhere when I heard those glorious words, "I got it!" If I had it to do over again, I would gladly take it to a shop.
