Smells like eggs???

Any one know why when the air flows on my car it smells like eggs, i have put a new cat, pipe muffler ect.... but still smells like farts when i get up and go


btw 91 caprice classic with a 350 have no idea what the hell to do

yep i dont know what the do, smells like ass i know its something to do with the exgst system but unsure of the next step..

Thats what i thougt at first, but then after i replaced the cat and the pipe and the muffle ( flowmaster :P ) it still smells,

Thats wierd, my buddy had a '94 Cutlas Supreme that did the same thing. Rand great, but it did smell when yah go on it.

you might try the converter again if it is a cheaper one. We have emission testing and alot of them only last a few month.The dealer ones last alittle longer but cost an arm & leg.Also if you have any other problems with the tune up (oil blowby-rings,seals)it will wipe out the new converter. Another option to try is put a pipe in place of the converter for testing purposes and see if it still smells.

Maybe someone used some sort of additive in the cooling system to stop a leak, and you can smell it. I dunno????

Take off the converter and run it for a day and see if it still smells. It might be running rich.
