93 F250 351w

I have a 93 F250 that has a pcv problem it is makeing good vac in all the rite places but it smokes like crazy at oil fill brether and at pass side valve cover. has oil like mad at air cleaner and wont idele. the only yhing I can think of is bad rings and it is blowing by the valves. The moter has 80,000and auto tranny anybody have any ideas thanks westie

Well if the pcv valve is working then it does sound like you have some major blow by. I would have a compression test, and a leak down test run on the engine. The leak down test will tell you more than the compression test will. Also, don't remember for sure but that valve cover may have a baffle in to to keep the oil from going up the tube, if it does make sure that yours has not fell off.
