Nope, in store too. I just picked up a tamiya 350z and a A31D1 kit for $42.00 (USD)
I also got a red taged Tamiya RS focus for 12.84, then they took an additonal 20% off, Ended up paying 8.95 for it. Pretty sweet deals this weekend.
Also, their wheels are 20% off too.

Re: HobbyPeople Sale 20% OFF!

the store in pasadena only has three different types of wheels and i already bought them last year. A hobby shop in the Alhambra area has a bigger variety of wheels so im going there to get new stuff. When i got to the store, yesterday afternoon, they were just about cleaned up on Tamiya and Aoshima kits. I was lucky they still had a few Skylines. I was able to get one of their last two, and i also got myself a truck with adjustable suspention and bed. Ive never built 2-door Skylines or trucks before.

Re: HobbyPeople Sale 20% OFF!

I know their sale has come and gone but they have several all year long. I find their Tamiya selection very limited and therefore I almost never buy kits from them. I do use them, among others, for building supplies, mainly paints. Once when they had a 33% off sale I did picked up the 1/12 FW14B for $77. It's still sitting on the shelf.

Re: HobbyPeople Sale 20% OFF!

The shop in Pasadena has a large selection of Revell kits and paints but their supplies arent very large. I usually go to House of Hobbies in Burbank for my supplies. They have like three times the amount of supplies HobbyPeople has, so i just go ahead and buy my paints there too.

Re: HobbyPeople Sale 20% OFF!

Like I said before, Tamiya car kits, limited selection. I don't think I've even seen others, Fujimi, Hasegawa, Aoshima. And NO pe stuff or decals at all. They are good for RC cars and planes though.

Re: HobbyPeople Sale 20% OFF!

Well the store in rancho has alot of inventory. Nice selection of Tamiya and Revell.

I couldnt find the other reciept for the Tamiya 350z, but it came out to $17.89.
I think this hobbypeople has alot of Tamiya, and Aoshima models, they dont have many fujimi. As for misc Items, they pretty much suck.

Heres what All i got from the sale..

Re: HobbyPeople Sale 20% OFF!

hey i was about to get that same skyline till i saw the side fenders next to the side mirrors sorta protrudes. I ended up going with the GT-R V-Spec II from Tamiya, and the Toyota truck Custom version 2. I'm thinking of going with the lowrider look on the truck. Perhaps a burgundy color with a black ragtop roof and some gold wire wheels would go well with the trucks adjustable suspencion and bed lift.
