Ford Focus Pos
I have a 2000 ford focus, have had it in the shop about 30 times. (ignition tumbler etc...) Now the evaporator supposedly has a leak. I wanted to charge it and use that seal stuff to see if it could hold a charge.
1. Where do I charge the AC 2. Has anyone else had this problem? - I live in florida, the car has almost 100,000 miles on it and I need AC 3. Has anyone reported to ford about a possible RECALL on that ignition tumbler. I am on my 3rd one already! 4. Mechanic says bolts in transmission are making noise and believes that I will need to rebuild my tranny eventually (my car is a 5speed manual) Any help on these issues is much appreciated. The only thing I can suggest is get a newer Focus because when the first 2 years they were out all they had was problems with the car. I suggest 02 and newer!

ya ravage the first 2 years were a complete mess, I'm suprised your vacume hoses havent caused you problems yet, but the 02 on cars are quite solid
