leveling kits?

i just got new tires today, Pirelli Scorpian A/T 275/70/R16, and they look great. my truck sits a little higher now which i like, but im looking to lift the front end another 2 inches so it has more of an aggressive stance (plus i dont like how it leans down). i hear all you guys talking cranking the torsion bars but i dont have a 4x4, therefore no tbars, correct? so where can i get a simple, cheap kit to lift the front 2" higher? thanks

Re: leveling kits?

There are a few different companies that offer lift kits for 2x4 trucks.

Re: leveling kits?

They are called "leveling keys". I had them installed when I bought my new tires. I assume they make them for two wheel drives. They cost me $240 including the alignment.

Re: leveling kits?

Your grill looks good. Is it a "bolt over" type?

Re: leveling kits?

im almost positive they dont make leveling keys for 2wd's. thanks though.

thanks... my grille is a bolt on, directly over the factory grille... although when you look at it from certain angles you can see the plastic honeycomb pattern behind it... pretty annoying, i think im gonna cut it out

Re: leveling kits?

I think what you need is called a coil spring spacer for a 2wd

they make a coil spacer for these trucks, they are about 80 - 100 i think last i looked, i was gonna do this but i ended up dropping the rear 2 inches instead was cheaper and looked better in my case. i was told if you do the spacers you will need to re- align the front end of the truck.

Re: leveling kits?

You can buy shackles to put on the back and it will lower the rear-end from 1"-5".. They are bout 60.00-70.00.

I am also looking to do the same thing and found these coil spacers by Googling "truck leveling kit". I don't know what is involved with the installation. I prefer to raise the front rather than lower the rear.
Here's the link to one supplier that has for 1 1/2" and 2" lift kits: [url]http://www.suspensionconnection.com/

Re: leveling kits?

Ya i would much rather lift the front too.
Thanks Plan B, thats exactly what i was looking for. I think those will do great, plus they're about $80... seems like a good deal to me. I wonder how much a garage will charge for installation?
I just got new tires and a realignment, this sucks... i dont want to have to pay another $65 for another realignment. Would i even need it?
