OEM part numbers!!!!! AAGGHHH!

I have a '93 Euro Coupe (2-door).

Chevy dealer gives me the following OEM part numbers...

Driver side manual-remote side mirror - OEM#88896761

Driver side outside door handle assembly - OEM#16627463

Problem is none of the parts stores seem to match these OEM numbers yet claim they have the right parts.

I am concerned about purchasing over the internet and finding out the parts don't fit.

i know the side-voew mirror can have 110 mm base or 114 mm base. is that even within different 93 Euro 2-doors or does it depend on 2-door vs. 4-door? Very frustrating.

are these two parts things i can fix with normal hand tools?

The mirror, 88896761 supercedes 10281015, so if the aftermarket shows that number you're good to go.
The door handle, 16627463, supercedes 16601643, same story, hope this info helps.

thanks for the offer. I need a manual remote for driver side so i think i'm out of luck with your parts. Very generous offer, though!

BTW, does anyone know how to replace these sideview mirrors? It looks like i may have to take the interior trim/skin off the door.

yes to replace the drive side
you must remove the door skin its a trickey task becaue theres metal clips that hold the top to the window and if riped off, you just screwed yourself on the faberic on the door,
its easy to do just need to be carefull the mirror is only 3bolts size 1/2inch l think but when you remove the little mover thing you need a tiny alen key to lossen the screw and to slides out.
when doign that the top right big heavy subber inside the door just be pulled down to pull and feed the new controll hose threw

srry if this is vag but hard to discribe in words without doing it myself
