91 regal backfiring

i've got a 91 regal with a 3.1 engine that was running fine but on the way to work it started to stumble and shake and backfire.
i changed plugs and wire with same results anybody out there can you gave me a tip and how do you know if your head is leaking?

Any coolant on the plugs? Any CEL? How is the fuel pressure.
