Angry Crazy Idle

My idle on my teg is jumping between 1-2K RPM. I took it to a good friend at the Honda Dealership and he said it might be the IACV(Idle Air Control Valve). Anyways, i took that off and now my idle went like crazy. It's more like 1-3.5k now. If it's good, shouldnt it drop and not rise? I just dont know what's wrong and i really need some help so any suggestions would be cool.
Thanks again.

The only time I had a jumping idle problem on my GS-R was when I had gunk on the intake port on the intake manifold. If you take off your air intake and look at the intake port, you can easily see if any crap is on there, holding the intake port open. Rubbing alcohol will clean off any stuff pretty well.

Doesn't the PCV valve have some affect on idle?
Maybe check that for suction, and if it makes the click
when you shake it. Just an idea.

my car did that after getting a new engine. nothing was wrong with it but it did that anyway.

reset your timing. turn your car on and let idle for 2 fan cycles. then turn everything in the car on: wipers, a/c, hazard lights, lights, dome light, radio, etc and let it stay like that for 10 minutes and turn everything off but keep the car running. then disconnect your idle control sensor on the intake manifold and reset your idle. that cured my car.
