Microsoft Anti-Spyware-> Windows Defender

just an FYI. I just installed the "new" windows defender. M$ jsut replaced the win anti-spyware with it.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS.

I tested it out on my work machine. It is close to as bad as Win ME.

It does not update, it also will slow your system to a crawl. Once i removed it from my proc list, everything was working fine.

Re: Microsoft Anti-Spyware-> Windows Defender

Why the hell would you ever "test anything out on your work machine?"

You should never TEST anything on a PRODUCTION MACHINE.

Re: Microsoft Anti-Spyware-> Windows Defender

i tested it on my work computer because we needed to see how it would interact with our daily functions. im the guinea pig for new software.

that and i am set up to where if anything causes a screw up in the OS, i can just reimage it from the previous day.
