RB26DETT Swap

What car would you beable to swap the RB26DETT into with none or minimal mod to the car?

How about an R32, R33 or R34 GTR Skyline? It should bolt right in.

With a little more work it will go into the lower spec skylines, the GTS-ts and GTs.


Anything else and you have to start making serious modifications.

I once saw a Holden in a New Zealand rag with a rb26dettand 6 speed GETRAG. Alot of work to put in any car. If I were going to do it in anything other than a skyline, it would have to be a smog exempt Z car (250Z?) You could get the front done in fiberglass, and build a half tube-chassis around the engine/trans. Easier than cuting into the unibodies and rewelding sheet medal i think
