Almost completed: 69 Camaro Convertible

sorry for built such a not interesting slead...

she has almost done. still needs window trim and small parts.

I can't find BMF in Japan. looks like every shop has run out of the stock of BMF.

has nicely refrection.

Nice paint job and pinstripes!

No Bare Metal Foil? You can make your own. In the US you can get from Microscale a product called metal foil adhesive, not sure if they sell it in other parts of the world (or if there are competing products). You simply apply it to the dull side of thin kitchen aluminum foil. Works quite well, though it is thicker than BMF. Buffs out beautifully, just like BMF to a chrome-like shine. Not as easy to get around curves. If you can't find the exact foil adhesive, in craft stores they sell a similar product meant to help apply silver and gold leaf foils for decorative arts and crafts. The adhesive goes on like white glue, and dries clear and tacky.

Love the Camaro, the pinstripes around the wheel wells look great too. That is a great build. Is it a Revell or a AMT>

well... I have the final exam on Feb 28th- Mar 3rd, so I can finish this model within a month.
now, I'm working on window trim with kitchen aluminium foil(ZoomZoom, you idea thank you)



mmm,,, pooly foil job. I'm wondering about that. there's the way about that. scrape the foil.
