Completed: Honda RC211V Valencia '03
This was actually finished early in '05 but its only now I have a camera with Macro function to do it justice!
This was not the Tamiya "Valencia" kit but the '03 standard kit, with added Studio27 "tridente" exhaust, Valencia "hippy" decals, and white metal stand set. It was also my first attempt at carbon fibre, such as on the seat unit and rear "hugger", I think it came out ok. The c/f decal was the "Modelers" stuff which lay down really nicely after a bit of MicroSol/Set. The paint is Tamiya TS64 Dark Mica Blue with HORRIBLE Revell flourescent yellow for the tank and seat. I love this colour-scheme, and Rossi is a proper superstar! Side view  Rear left side  Rear right side with c/f  "The Office"

Its really great, high detail, what paint do u use on the blue part of the exhausts?

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Ketje and Joel: I used the Revell flourescent yellow out of a tin as I couldn't get hold of a decent spray at the time. It was horribly lumpy, dried really fast (and matt) but wasn't very opaque, so it took loads of coats to build up a decent colour, then I sanded it back and coated in Halfords clear laquer, it came out ok if you don't look TOO closely! Quiquipool: The exhaust was sprayed Tamiya silver, then dry-brushed with clear orange then clear blue. I don't have an airbrush but still wanted to do something with the exhaust colour, all the reference I have shows it being really heat-stained. Have a look at these:   Genx
