Unknown electrical component..??
92' Park Avenue, standard 3800
 I'm sorry not to have a picture of it, but I'll describe it as best as I can. It's located underneath the fuse/ relay center, bolted into the a/c blower housing (Once removed, you have access to the evaporative core from the opening)I removed the electrical connector and 2 bolts, and noticed it has 3 springs, all different sizes. These springs were all all pretty much rusted up, so I'd like to replace this small device because I'm afraid it couldn't possibly be working properly like that. If this thing has anything to do with blower control, it's probably my problem! I cleaned the evap core, yet still have very little air flow.If anyone knows what I am describing, and/or what it's for, I'd greatly appreciate the info!

It sounds like the blower motor resistor block and yes it probably will be the cause,either buy a new one or find a good one at a junck yard,good luck

Are resistor blocks available at Advanced Auto and Pepboys?
