SL2 motor swap

I just blew up my 1994 SL2 so im thinking of a new motor and transmission swap on it, make it worth a little more than it is now... Any opinions?

Re: SL2 motor swap

well you already had the LLO, best you could have. now really your only limitation is the fact that the car has a mechanical egr (vacuum operated) while the 96 newer had an electronic. now did you have an automatic or manual? if you had a manual then you could increase value with an auto, but not really worth doing the work.

well, the car is already an automatic... It had a little work done to it but not much... It's worth about fifty bucks right now in my eyes... hahaha but anything to improve the value is nice to hear.

Re: SL2 motor swap

not much you can do to increase value then, other then cleaning it up and putting in a new motor. you already had the dohc and its an auto. other then that youd be looking at the options your car didnt come with, like leather, power windows, power door locks, whatever you dont have that can be added. still i doubt its worth the work or money.

put a new engine in it, and thats about it. are you planning on selling it or keeping it?
