MAN! my antenna bent and now it wont go all the way back down in its home.

is there any possible way of bending it back safely or am i gonna have to get a new one from the dealership?

Should be able to bend it. How badly was it bent? Just pulled over a bit or is it creased?

how did it bend? the 300zx antenna is pretty thick to bend from wind resistance or anything...

but yeah, try to bend it back...if it doesnt work, buy a new one. i am pretty sure it isnt that hard to replace.

also, if you want to save some money...place a wanted ad on TwinTurbo.net's classified section and do a search for someone parting out a Z32. should be pretty easy to find and will probably only cost you about $15+shipping.

It's not very hard to replace, man. I've done it before. It's not very expensive, either. If it's creased, it will probably need to be replaced.

the Z32 is a little more difficult than most cars because Nissan only left a very small space in the body panels to fit your hand through from the inside. not to mention, some Z32 owners need a write-up to take apart the interior.
but yeah, its not hard...

i configured mine so it stays up about half way and then goes all the way up when i turn on the radio on my deck. i just like the look of it partiaclly up. if you notice, in all the pictures i have taken of my car, the antenna is always up even without a battery in, thats why.

I just pushed my antenna all the way down, and disconnected it seeing as I never listen to the radio anyway.
