Water Pump and Rack an Pinion Replacement

Hey you guys. I got a leak in my water pump. Its not that bad, but it does give me trouble while crossing the border. I already bought it, and am going to replace it. I also got the factory service manual. Seems like a tidius job, need to take out a lot of parts plus the timing belt. Any tips on what to do? How long will it take me? 4-5 Hours? Ive replaced a water pump from a old prelude, and a 240. They werent that bad, just time consuming, so ive got a little experience. And also i need to replace my rack and pinion to get a proper alignment, and i dont have a clue how to do that.
