just curiouse seafoam

i was wondering i always thout that you yous seafoam by going under the hood and putting a hose of some sort in the can
but the guy from napa told me you just ad it to the gas tank is this true i dont understand

Both methods are correct. In the tank it cleans the raw fuel passages including the injectors.

Running it into the combustion chambers is the more common usage. It breaks up all the crap along the way and spits it into the exhuast system.

The recommended method of getting the Seafoam into the engine is through a large vacuum line such as the power brake booster vacuum supply line.
