Finally I own a lathe

Yes it's true: today I'd purchased my new lathe: I have't switch on already. Those've split my back: it weight almost 40/50 kg, a lot.
The fun is that I don't know from how side it work: well hoping to start some experiece tonite (noise apart )

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for it? I've been looking at one of those in a DIY store around here, but they ask €500 (and the quality leaves much to be desired, TBH)

well my bikerhiro, i think my lathe isn't good like the mike's sheerline for sure, however it cost €650 (770 $) but it's still in discount of 200 eur until 28/2: so I payd 500 with blades and a ball-bearing's bit (right translation?).
It's look not bad, at least its weight a lot

LOL man, speed and no-capability apart, actually I haven't the time to come to WC: so if someone want free vacation to "a bit of mile close to" venice, just talk: walk around italian beauty and tastes by day, milling and turning for me, the night
