Trailblazer Passenger Side Heating Help
My parents have a 02 TB LTZ with the dual climate controls..
Starting yesterday, the passenger side has NO heat at all, the driver side works perfectly and this morning you could draw a line down the middle of the window were the driver side defrosted and the passenger side didn't.. funniest sight I've ever seen. Anyways, does anyone know if theres a seperate module or fuse for the passenger side heat and where would it be located... It will blow air out but just cold air, not hot like the driver side The warranty ran out a long time ago, and I'd like to figure this out myself if I could.

Re: Trailblazer Passenger Side Heating Help
Since you have an ltz, I'm assuming you have the automatic climate control. You need to see if the control actually works. Start by testing your driver's side, since you know it works. With the car on, turn the temp. up all the way. Then give it a second. Now, turn all the way back down and listen to find out if you can hear the actuators turning and rotating the temperature doors. Now that you know what it sounds like (you may need to try a few times), try it with the passenger side and see if you can hear the same noise. If you hear clicks, the gears are stripped or the motor is misaligned. If you hear nothing, it could be the controller.

Re: Trailblazer Passenger Side Heating Help
Try those suggestions, but if it is the control unit, they are pretty cheap off ebay, like $30.
