2007 Civic SI.....
...Sedan
thought I'd put this here so everyone can see potential new swaps ![]() http://www.car.com/content/research/...iew&make=Honda Quote:
IMO...sport 4-doors now are largely turbo'd...if honda sticks with the same 195hp engine out of the coupe, i think it'd be a mistake...true it has a six-speed tranny, but that isn't much when compared to the WRX, SRT-4, Mazdaspeed 4-doors... i guess it's main competition is the Lancer, 4-door Cobalt and the like

Re: 2007 Civic SI.....
i think thats one hot 4 dr!! if i was intrested in that car.. id be glad it didnt come boosted from the factory.. these boosted cars from factory barely satisfy any1's craving for boost and end up doing big costly upgrades neways. i would piece together my own setup and save a few bucks!
how many of u ppl are fond of the new si's? if i wasnt so dopic id start a pole of 4gens up to current and see what gen ppl prefer most..sum1 wanna do that?

Re: 2007 Civic SI.....
I kinda agree with Adrian on the boosting, but then i agree with Full Blown STD on not boosting. But if Honda really wanted to get back into the big competition, they would need to boost or bring those revs up more, do what Honda is good at doing, coming out with motors that are capable of insane RPMS. It will take a little getting used to, a Si Sedan, what a bunch of 4th gen guys wished they would have done a long time ago instead of having to make their own.
As for the new Civic's in general, I'm not a huge fan of the body, but from what I have read on the motor, they actually gave us a good motor again, instead of these economical motors.
