Any Magic Fix ????????????

Has anyone come up with a magic fix to tighten the locks on the rear window of the extended cab trucks? My 99 has terrible wind noise especially at highway speeds.

Re: Any Magic Fix ????????????

The dealer did this on mine when I bought it. They drilled holes in the bracket, right below the handle, and inserted a long screw through it. This tighten up the slack on the whole assembly, which allows a positive latch when closed. A visit to the local dealer to see exactly how to do this procedure and to see if there is a part number on the screws, both of which I am unsure about. Hope that helps a little.
