Mitsubishi EVO 7 VS Ralliart Spec 3000gt

Well where I live they have these gatherings at night about 10:30pm just outside of town. Usually 40 odd cars turn up to do burn outs etc.

Not many races go on but a shit load of cars and fun!! well being the only 3000gt there I get a lot of shit from people saying my car looks ugly, Its a boat on wheels etc

well anyway I had just had about enough when this guy and his Nissan Skyline GTS challenged me to a race. Every one was saying how my car was gonna get wasted etc. so he brought a couple of his freinds with him to prove to every one that he beat me with his 450hp car with NOS etc.

20+ odd people gather to watch us race. we are reving our cars 3,2,1 and I launch my car at 6000rpm his car is RWD so its spinning like hell I've got all my Fours spinning also I hook up and take about a car on him (beleive it or not but his car actually hooks up a second before mine).

I shift to second and he gains a bit but looses it just as fast and returns to about a car length behind we stay that way untill 160kph where I take him all the way to 290kph.

He races back before we even finish and tells every one that I won because he had a slipping clutch.

most said they still like the skyline while looking at my car asking if they could come for a ride lol...

while his freinds who witness the race looked shocked and suprised....

Havn't seen this guy around for about a month now. I heard that he is getting bigger upgrades and is looking for another race.

Bring em on!!! lol.....

since you said you had all four wheels spinning I'm assuming that the ralliart spec is similar to the vr-4 that we have here in the states? Sorry I'm not too familiar with mitsubishi's. If that is correct it sounds like a pretty sweet race to me, and the pics are very nice.

Yep it started off as a normal 1991 VR-4, then it was moded by Ralliart with HKS etc

I must say, I'm not a big fan of the 3000GT just because of how difficult they are to work on, along with other little problems. But I think I have to make an exception in this case. That's a rad car.

>>>>hey i live in the states....and one time on the free way...i was cruseing home and i see this vr-4 (witch is almost the same as yours i hear) with the twin turbo and everything....i have an 89 240sx F/B with the red top sr20det s13.....i was in 4th just chillin i dunno what he was in....i look over and he down shifts....so were off...i down shift to third....and in the sr20 the down shift to 3rd is pretty mean at high rpm....instantly i just in front and shift to 4th...im just pulling on him ...slowly but surely....i top out in forth at about 115mph and about a full second later he goes flying by ....i was laughing at his ass!!!!!
