kickin names and taking ass

real simple thread starter... just cuz i want too see if anyone has had this kind of action with thier dsm.> what kinds of cars have you beaten in your dsm... mustangs, camaros? just a curiosity. but just cuz i can, but dont take this TRUE story seriously:

i can firmly say i "smoked" a mustang and a vette in my 90 laser 1.8 stick.... NOW NO HATIN TILL YOU HEAR THE END.... in my old small town of lousia we had this stoplight mid town... real pain in the ass... well we had these 2 guys who were rich in town one had a 2000 vette, the other an 03 mach1 (check the year on that) well both of them had a bad habit of riding your ass... NOONE RIDES MY ASS... so when we got to the light, and they burried thier lights in my bumper. i revved , and revved, until the light turned. and if you didnt know this my car was renound for its smoke, and my 3 inch ricer type tip(which mader her loud)...i left a circle on the bumpers of those cars... solid black(about 4.4 inches around).... and both cars were white. that is my claim to fame, we used to joke about it all the time.

Re: kickin names and taking ass

Why the hell did you post this in the performance forum?

This thread is pointless.

Re: kickin names and taking ass

well its more a comparison. to show what level your performance is at right now... and plus i want to see if it is realistic to shoot for a build that could blow away... well say and f-body ls1. or a 302 mustang. that is without making it totally non streetable. its one of the better ways i could think of... less you got one better? im not a big fan of the 1/4 mile times... while it says alot about the car... it also says alot about the driver... its kinda a motto i have : any day a great driver in a good car, can blow away a great car with a good driver. but over all it felt more like a performance question.

Well...you didnt even show what level of performance your car is at right now anyways? Should I have the sudden urge to shake your hand for being a badass with a riced out 1.8l?

Re: kickin names and taking ass

I find it funny what you did to those guys but I also can't see how the action you made pertains to performance?

Re: kickin names and taking ass

I guess you are looking for kill lists from people who have had "acceleration contests" on the street? Proper grammar and punctuation will get you more responses and much less criticism.

I've killed two preludes (not the last gen but the one before it) that were lightly modified.

I killed an old (80's) Accord with a muffler tip (wasted some gas "practicing my launch").

I killed a newer Acura 2.? on the highway.

Got my ass HANDED to me by a Galant VR4 (heavily modified, I saw him pushing buttons on what looked like an EBC before we took off on the highway)

Got pulled on by an STI (again highway starting at 60ish)

Re: kickin names and taking ass

I don't race to much in the old eclipse. In the cobra I have raced a few things,

I raced an s2000 and killed him by buslengths.
I raced an IS300 and killed him by football fields.
I've raced my good friends moddified RSX several times in the cobra and GS-T and put bus lengths on him in both cars.

I've raced miscellanious honda's and what not in the cobra and just destroyed them( I don't ever try to race them they always try to race me) I raced a GSX on the freeway from about 65 and really hurt him.

I can't think of anything that has beat me in the cobra. I want to race a newer vette. I'm pretty sure I'll loose but I know it'll be fun.
