Breaks?

I have a 1995 Intrepid. The last couple days I started hearing a strange noise when my car is in reverse. It is a dragging sound when my foot is not on the brake. Just backing out of the driveway or out of a parking spot. It has gotten louder and I was wondering if anyone knows what it may be. I was thinking the brakes but, could it be the cv joints? The noise comes from the drivers side back tire area. There is no noise when turning or when I am breaking, if that is any help. Thanks for your time, Tina

I've had that problem before, turns out that it was a rock lodged in the brake pad. Most brake shops will check your brakes for free.
