i have a 94 SL1 and the auto seat belt doesnt work on the driver side. i dont mind manualy latching the seat belt off and on. the latch is stuck in the down position. my question is how manualy force the latch into the up position?

Re: electric seat belt

most of the time you wont be able to force it back. the motor might be dead or the track is jammed. when those things get stuck, they are pretty much stuck. do you happen to hear a clicking noise of anything when the door is open?

Re: electric seat belt

so that could be a simple fix rather than spending a lot to replace parts?
