Talking Obvious Newspaper Headlines

I found these hilarious newspaper headlines that basically state the obvious, they are well funny. What do you think?
  1. If strike isn't settled quickly it may last a while
  2. War dims hope for peace
  3. Smokers are productive, but death cuts efficiency
  4. Cold wave linked to temperatures
  5. Child's death ruins couple's holiday
  6. Blind woman gets new kidney from dad she hasn't seen in years
  7. Man is fatally slain
  8. Something went wrong in jet crash, experts say
  9. Death causes loneliness, feeling of isolation

This was on a sign in front of a cemetery near my house:

WANTED:
GRASS CUTTER
CONSOLERS

I never knew cutting grass was such a depressing job!

there was a headline in the local paper here that had a picture of a cemetary and you could see a road sign in the corner of the pic that said "dead end". i thought it was kinda funny.
