ignition/spark plug wires for prelude

ok, i have a 93 prelude 2.2L sohc. lately when i go up a hill on a highway it will drop from 85 to 55 and will barely even accelerate 1 mph higher than that, almost as though it were running on only 3 cylinders. besides this when i start up the car, the engine idles from a higher pitch to a lower pitch and continues this. so i assume it needs a new distributor cap, wires, and spark plugs.

now what im trying to decide is on new wires. what should i take into consideration? mm in size? brand? the metals used to make the wiring?

i just cannot decide which wires to get to make the best performance replacement for this problem.

any help is appreciated, thanks.

-mike

Re: ignition/spark plug wires for prelude

nevermind, the spark plug seals are shot so oil is coming out onto the tops of the plugs, theres no pressure, the wires and cap are shot, the oxygen sensor is done and that ruined my catalytic converter which needs to be replaced along with other pipes because they are rusted... oh and one of those little oil changes.... a thousand dollars of parts and labor...
