'93 2.2L Water Pump

Hey All,

My Girlfriend has a '93 that needs a new water pump put on it, and being the wonderful B/F I am, I decided to get her car back on the road for Valentines Day.

The car is back at her parents house right now and I'll be heading down there this weekend to work on it.

I have done water pumps before and am not worried about doing the work, what bothers me is that I have never done them in cars before. Every vehicle I have owned has been a Truck or a Jeep and I never had the whole problems with the engine sitting in the bay paralell to the front axle. I just threw a new water pump on my '96 S-10 2.2L last year and the pump is the exact same one for the car.

I am wondering what I will have to do to get the new one on the car considering I'll be working against a fender instead of being able to pull the radiator and such like I did with my truck. How much time should I plan for?

Any help is appreciated, Thanks Much - Brent
