Paintball VS Airsoft!

Ok, I gotta say I prefer Airsoft...and this is why.

Airsoft guns look real, act real and are even more complex internally than real guns.

Paintball guns usually look fake, act fake, and have to have a tank of gas with it.

Airsoft guns use 6mm bb's made of ceramic. They use different weights and can cut through brush, and have a good range.

Paintballs get stuck in barrels and explode...cloging and jaming the gun, leave dumb colors on people, explode on bushes (yes...a bush is a great hiding place)

Airsoft has events like Vietnam reinactments.

Airsoft makes people jump around and make noise when they are hit, making it obvious enough when you got someone.

Paintball paint can be wiped off...allowing them to cheat all the same...

Anyway, paintball looks cool when it is done with the uniforms and big inflatable obsticles...its like gladiator combat.

But defentally not like digging into a field and ambusing someone, or hearing the sound of various guns exchanging fire and calling in reinforcements, and launching gernades into the area.

That and paintballers SUCK!

Eh.. unless the airsoft is C02 powered they are like a pussified version of Paintball so...

Paintball>airsoft.

But to each their own, and just to show you how much better Paintball is compared to airsoft.. AIRSOFT DOESNT EVEN HAVE ITS OWN SUBFORUM

Airsoft is fun. Paintball is fun. BUT!!!

...An old room mate I used to live with and I both bought guns and we'd play in the apt! Paintball guys can't do this! Plus, airsoft is cheaper to get into. Good paintball guns can be expensive.

I don't have anyone to shoot at, now...*sheds a tear*...lol

mine hits harder than upgraded paintball guns

I cut down bushes...and I hunt when in the field with it. Mine will put a hole through a snakes head, and will cut a rat to shreads.

Oh, and I make people bleed. Thats why there is a 20ft rule...if your within 20ft you have to say "surrender" or use a sidearm (powered by co2...because gas is weaker)

I think ill stick to my guns

Dude...what the fuck?! You're crazy! That'd be like me playing with my OTHER gun... My airsoft gun is exactly like this...well...why it says it's $140EU (about $167US) is beyond me...I only paid about 30 bucks for mine...but it's the same thing. Shoots plastic bbs, rifled barrel (which is really cool if you go outside and shoot in the sun...the bbs go UP! The barrel puts back spin on the bbs and they really go UP at about 20 ft! This makes it EXTREMELY accurate at 10-20 ft!), all that shit.



1: .380 round. Basically a 9 millimeter with a shorter casing.
2: 7 round magazine for Bersa Thunder .380.
3: C02 cartrige for my second in command.
4: CLIP...yup, I said CLIP...for second in command.
5: Magazine for "last resort"/toy. Still hurts like a bitch, though. Lot of fun.
6: Honestly, I don't know where 6 and 7 went...lol...

9: Fuckin WICKED mean Daisy C02 repeater...clip holds 15 metal bbs and happily fires semi auto.
10: My Bersa Thunder .380 pistol. Will...fucking...kill...you. I would NOT want to be shot by this. Been shot by both of the previous (of which I have a BB in my hand RIGHT NOW from #9. Hence the "Wicked mean" part. It will not only make you bleed [which I've PERSONALLY witnessed it will do] but it can permanently lodge a BB in your fucking hand) and, sure...#8 is a lot of fun in a masochistic kinda way...fun still fuckin hurts. As far as the .380 goes, fuck that shit in the ass hole. It hurts to SHOOT! It only weighs...like...7 oz or something like that (6 oz...8 oz...whatever) so a 9mm round blasting out of the fucker puts a bit o' pressure on your hand...not too horrid to fire (like my buddy's 7mm rifle...THAT fuckin hurt...) but you still feel it.

*** What YOU are playing with SOUNDS TO ME like you're PLAYING with #9. I would NEVER play with that fucker. It IMPLANTED a METAL BB IN MY HAND!!! HELL NO! I used to play with #8 all the time with my old room mate. It hurts, but it's fine...no big deal...the welts go away in a couple hours.

Please tell me you're NOT playing with something like #9...

I've also been shot with my Red Ryder (yup...straight outta the "Christmas Story" movie) and it hurts, too. Think "#9 at 3 yards" at 20 yards. No big deal but you still notice it.

These wont go through clothes at the fps I am at, but it will cut through bushes etc. It uses a piston to compress air then force it down the barrel. And my rifle has adjustable hop-up *puttin the spin on it to make it go up or down...adjusting by weight of the bb's*

Hmmm...those look a lot like #8. I'm pretty sure mine would make it through a bush...never tried...lol. No where on the site did I see anything about "ceramic bbs"...I've never heard of a ceramic bb in my life, actually. I did see on the site where it said they fire plastic bbs though...

Those things are fuckin EXPENSIVE, MAN! ~300 bucks for a pistol...some of the AirMax rifles and stuff are ~$500...there's one gun on there for $2,300! That's crazy! You can buy a REAL GUN for that $300-$500. You can get an H&K MP5 for $2,300...screw buyin a "toy" for $2,300! I want an MP5! I'd give my right nut for one of those fuckers...they're just too bad...

My gun cost 200 (a deal from a friend) and about 200 more in upgrades. And its more complicated than a real gun. Believe me, ive taken apart both and worked on them...

But being able to go out into a field and have fun like that is awesome, especally not having to worry about dying or anything.

Yea...that's usually a benefit...kinda hard to have a good time when you're trying not to get kilt.

I just got back from shooting my gun, actually. Went to the range with a friend of mine and he brought his Browning .22 and Ruger .44. He had some hand loaded magnum rounds for the .44 and that fucker was like a damn cannon! It was REALLY loud, had a MASSIVE baloon-sized muzzle flash and knocked me back on my back leg when I shot it. Good times.

I shot one for the first time when I was 12...some revolver...my it was all extra cartoonish how my the gun forced my hands into the air each time I shot.

That and the two pimps hangin out at the range jumpin up and down hollerin and shoutin as I was shootin...all extra strange day...

Dude...what the hell range are you goin to? lol I remember going to a range in Florida where some dude was shooting some black powder rifle...THAT was BY FAR the loudest cannon...er...sorry...gun I've EVER seen. The concussion hurt, for God's sake. This thing made my buddy's 7mm Rugar bolt action rifle seem like a pea shooter. That one dude also had an old school revolver that he was shooting and that thing was funny. All the powder in it wouldn't go off at once sometimes so it would just continue sputtering flames and smoke for a good 5 seconds after the round was fired. Dude told the guy he was with that shot it "oh...yea...if it does that, just point it down range...it'll be aight"...I was laughin my ass off.

Well since it seems that my birthday is coming up.. (This february 20th, btw) and im getting some money, and I feel like getting into airsoft, sooo.. anyone recommend anything? Paintball is really expensive and ive kinda put it up for now. So please.. weak powered people, tell me what to get or something along that.
