Re: 2.7 turbo

I think I should build a turbo kit for these cars and sell them for 1/2 the cost everyone else does.

Re: 2.7 turbo

Everyone spends so much $$ on a "Stage 2 turbo kit" when they are extreamly simple objects. The most complicated thing about force induction is ecu re-maping. And a simple MAF interceptor like a safc2 will do.

I have an endless amount of Hyundai Knolege at my disposal. 5 Hyundai service tech's, and a massive library of Service manual's.

What would you pay for a 400whp turbo & intercooler setup with install and tuning instructions??

i would love... LOVE to see you guys get 400 whp from a stock block...
highest to date is 347 i believe, and maybe 409, with pistons i think...

the maf is a pain to tune it correctly youll have to make it a draw through maf, not a blow through

Re: 2.7 turbo

Hi guys, im new here I have a silver 05 tiburon se v6 sixspeed and i have been looking hi and low for turbo chargers for this engine. I read where companies are working on one but never seems to happen. I used to be heavy into mustangs(still am, love turbo'd v8's) but i couldnt resist the beauty of this lil tibby and zippy v6 but def needs a turbo. Any way there is this company called sts turbo and they have a completely diff take on turbo setups that i think will be good for the tibby. There turbo kits are installed in the back of the vehicles with the turbins and impellers altered to compensate for boost. You can go to the link i post to fully understand how it works but basically it makes it to where turbos are very very easy to install on cars. Right now they do not have any demand for turbos for hyundai but they do make a generic do it yourself kit. Just tell them what your engine specs are. Again im new to tibbys so i dont know the capabilities of the v6 and what i can handle but if some knowledgable can goto this site and study up on it and email them to get us all some great specs and actually get the do it yourself kit you could sell the rest of us the blueprints for the fab work that would need to be done(which i am sure will be less than a turbo in the engine compartment) Here the link and i look forward to some input on this thanks.
