Need 95 Diesel Stalling Advice! PLEASE!!
Our work pickup is a 95 6.5 turbo diesel. We are having terrible stalling problems like the pump just quits on us. We have replaced the frame mount pump and put in a different injector pump. Same problems exist. I was hoping one of you have experienced a similar problem and could offer some assistance and advice of where to go from here. We have had it diagnosticly tested and it came up as a valve opener on the injector pump. But that is not the case so far. Thanks so much for your help!

I would start by checking all the electrical connections between the engine and firewall. If the pump has been ruled out, than a corroded plug may be causing the stalling.

Re: Need 95 Diesel Stalling Advice! PLEASE!!
i would check the fuel lines (espically the vent lines and the ones going to the carcol canister) going back to the tank and make sure that they are not melted etc... Basicly what this would do is create a vacum in the tank causing fuel starvation to the engine.
