My husband and had our EGR valve replaced this past summer on a 94 Thunderbird LX 4.6L engine. I shop that repaired our EGR valve cut-off my pipe that is connected to the engine. The pipe I am referring to is connected to the hose that cools down the engine. Now my car has been leaking radiator fluid none stop. I was told by someone that I need to replace my heater core. Can someone please give me some help on this situation. Thank You

I'm assuming they cut the heater hose. I would check the hose clamps for tightness and check the hoses under the hood (in engine compartment) to be sure none of them are leaking before replacing the heater core. If the heater core is leaking you would get a sweet smelling odor in the car when you turn on the heater or defroster. With the defroster on you would most likely get a film on the inside of the windshield also. Your front carpet would also be getting wet from the leaking antifreeze. If it is leaking as bad as you say, do you notice a puddle on the garage floor or ground? Changing the heater core is costly so check the above things first to avoid spending money needlessly.
