I'd like to have this car as a project, but convincing someone to give me 2000 well see how that goes...
how much would a motor cost to drop in myself, rebuild by myself.. i've had experiance with corvette motors and rebuilding them so i don't think it'd be much of a challenge.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4613059705 ![]()

Re: Honest opinion on 95 GSX with 88k no motor...
2k seems kinda high...The body is in really good shape so it's a tough call.

I would be all over that if I was closer and had the cash. You might even be able to talk him out of that motor he has for another $1000-$1500 depending on what it is.

Re: Honest opinion on 95 GSX with 88k no motor...
It looks pretty clean, but I can't stand the burnt orange color.
$2k seems a little high. I would offer him $1,500 cash out the door. Remember, your gonna need an engine, tranny, etc etc so by the time all is said and done, you will have spent over $3-4k on it, which is about what you could just buy a early 2g for.

you could get a used motor/tranny setup for $2k. give him $1500 cash. you could have a nice gsx for $3500.
