~In Progress~ EF K20R

Some of you may remember my CRX
Well I've decided to do some surgery to it. I cut off the front end of the EFchassis and modified the frontend of the RSX frontend. (Yes this is the Super Street Revell RSX tuner series engine bay.) This is my 1st time doing something like this, so expect very slow progress. In the next wave of photos, I plan to get the bodywork done. (meaning enginebay completed, Exterior wise also.) This crx has been stripped so manytimes, the plastic needs putty work.

I added the radiator support rail, along with the sides. I still need to sand up some areas. Im pretty satisfied so far.

Next will be to make a RHD Firewall, and get the engine bay in primer.
thanks for the comments.
I also have 1 more K20 engine left. I plan to drop one in a EK real soon.

Re: ~In Progress~ EF K20R

Nice!! I have been looking for the RSX and I have not had any luck yet. Cool to see this finally, I knew it was just a matter of time. For realism you should relocate the alternator since it would not fit under the 1:1 hood, it looks like this may cause the same issue on the model. Love the rad support area of the rex, looks alot like one I have seen alot of lol, as slow as mine is going right now you may actually beat me to the finish! Good luck.

Re: ~In Progress~ EF K20R

Cool swap. I'll be interested in seeing how well this tall motor fits into the engine bay. Too bad the Fujimi wheel arches are so damn huge, you have to replace the entire engine bay, practically.
